The elevated design keeps the girls dry when it rains, and the run underneath gives them extra scratching room without taking up more of my yard. All six of my hens fit comfortably and the whole thing feels sturdier than the last one I owned.
The run underneath gives my girls plenty of space to scratch around, and assembly was straightforward with clear instructions. My five hens settled in immediately.
Took about an hour to assemble with a friend, but it's solid once it's up. The run extending under the elevated coop is genius — my four hens dust-bathe down there on hot days while staying shaded, and the whole thing has held up through two storms already.
