We finally stopped hauling a folding table out every cookout because the built-in griddle does all the work right in the island. Guests just pull up to the bar seating and hang out while I flip burgers. Assembly took an afternoon, but everything lined up without any custom cutting.
The built-in griddle is the real winner here — I've done everything from Sunday pancakes to smash burgers on it without hauling out a single extra pan. The bar seating wraps around the corner perfectly, so guests actually hang out and talk while I cook instead of standing around awkwardly.
