The steel frame is way more substantial than the aluminum one I had before, no wobble at all even in gusty weather. The gable roof gives it a really clean profile that doesn't look like a cheap pop-up. Two seasons in and it still feels rock solid.
The gable roof sheds rain beautifully and the steel frame barely flexes even in gusty weather. Took two of us an afternoon to assemble, but it feels solid as a rock now that it's up.
We've had ours up for about six months now and the 16x14 footprint is genuinely generous — fits a full patio set plus room to walk around. The steel frame feels substantial, no wobble even in gusty weather. Assembly took two of us most of a weekend, but it was worth it.
