The cedar posts are noticeably thicker than the ones on my old gazebo, so it doesn't creak at all when the wind picks up. Took two of us an afternoon to assemble, and the beams lined up without any fighting.
The steel roof has held up perfectly through two hail storms already, not a single dent. Assembly took my brother and I about a full day, but the cedar beams fit together cleanly and it feels rock solid now that it's up.
The cedar posts have a rich, natural grain that makes it feel like part of the yard, not just a structure. The steel roof is solid and quiet in the rain—exactly what we needed.
